EARLY THANKSGIVING, AKA FRIENDSGIVING, DUBBED FAKESGIVING

At the beginning of this month, I hosted an early Thanksgiving dinner for our closest friends. A few days later, I learned that this celebration was pretty common and it was called, Friendsgiving. But one of my dearest friends', dubbed it Fakesgiving, and it stuck with us. #FakesgivinginAustin as my sister-in-law likes to call it, who came down all the way from NYC!
I kept it simple and homemade. Used what I had from the dishes, to the silverware, to the napkins to the serving platters. Prepped most of the dishes ahead of time, moved furniture around, rented an extra round table and with the help of friends at the last minute, pulled it off. We ate, drank and laughed!
