LAST MINUTE PARTY SNACK BAGS

Last week, my bestfriend held her birthday shindig at a local hangout on the East Side. She's all about making sure her guests have a great time, whether it's a party for herself or for someone else. Trust me, I know!
Because it was a weeknight, and people would be coming from work she wanted something her guests could munch on. That's where I come in! I offered to make cute little snack bags. I gave her two options: (a) popcorn, pretzels and peanut m&m's; or (b) plantains, nuts and dried apricots.
Lazy me, opted for group (a) - popcorn, pretzels and peanut m&m's! What a great combination right?! Quite honestly, I had no desire to go to another store to get the nibbles from group (b). Besides which is more fun to snack on while getting your drink on, plantains & dried apricots or popcorn and m&m's. No brainer! When feeding people it's never about you, it's always about your guests!
Needless to say, her party snack bags were a hit! Under the city lights, amongst the company of good people, we all gathered together to celebrate one person. I Love you CH!

Fold the top of the bag down (about 1 inch).

Press and seal with striped washi tape at the opposite side at a diagonal, to make an "x."
Repeat till all 24 snack bags are complete.
Celebrate, you're done!
Notes
Choose whatever treats you want to put in the bags. Just think - sweet & salty always makes a good combination.
Do not shake the bags to attempt to mix the goods inside. This will only ruin the bag. Besides that's extra work.
Do not mix treats beforehand in a bowl. A bowl is something else you'll need then you'll have to clean it up. Who wants to do that?!
Color coordinate with the theme of your party for your bags and washi tapes.
